When the fit comes out wrong

Sometimes the fit comes out wrong. Here is who to go to, and what we can do about the next one.

Who handles the return

Our retail partner, on their own terms and inside their own window. Start it from the order page you got when you bought, where the return option sits with the piece. They settle the money side too, since they took the payment.

We cannot open, approve or speed up a return, and we cannot see whether yours has moved. Writing to us about one costs you time.

What we can do

Work out what went wrong with the fit and stop it happening twice. Tell us the size you took, your height, and what was off about it, and we will tell you what the piece does and which one to try instead. Some of our cuts run generous through the shoulder and slim through the waist, and that catches people out.

Before you send anything back

Measure a garment you already own and like, and hold it against the numbers on the piece page. It takes two minutes and it settles most of these questions without a box going anywhere. Keep the packaging until you are sure, because the partner asks for the piece back in the state it arrived.

If the piece is faulty

A seam that goes on the first wear or a zip that never ran properly is a fault, not a fit problem. Raise it with the partner so it is on the order record. Tell us as well, at write to the cutting table. We want to know when a run has gone wrong, and we cannot fix what nobody reports.

Getting it right first time

Every piece page carries the fit notes we would give you over the counter.
