We cut this two piece set from an opaque air-layer knit that holds its shape without extra bulk. The long sleeve top features a relaxed crew neck and raglan seams, paired with high waist wide leg trousers in deep navy blue. Bold white side stripes run down both legs.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Air-layer knit fabric

The double-faced knit blend gives both pieces a smooth surface and a soft drape. It remains fully opaque while moving easily, making it suited for cool mornings and quiet evenings inside.

Raglan sleeve cut

We built the crew neck top with diagonal raglan shoulder seams instead of a set-in armhole. This construction frees up movement across the upper back and keeps the chest clean.

Wide leg waistband

The trousers sit high on the waist with an enclosed elastic band that stays flat. We cut the legs wide down to a clean hem, set off by white contrast taping down the outer seams.

Deep trouser pockets

We set deep hand pockets right into the side seams of the trousers. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold small daily items without pulling the waistband down.
