What went into it
The details we cut in
Cotton and linen weave
The blend gives you the texture of linen with the softness of cotton. It has an open weave that lets air move through, dyed deep black and pre-washed so the fabric falls cleanly without stiff creasing.
Waistband and front pleats
We gathered the high waistband on elastic and threaded an adjustable drawstring through the front channel. Shallow pleats below the band open up extra room across the hips and direct the drape of the leg.
Pocket construction
Two deep slash pockets sit flat along the side seams for daily items. We also stitched a single patch pocket across the back to balance the rear panel without adding bulk inside the seat.
Washing and care
Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand in a basin. Skip the tumble dryer and hang the trousers by the waistband to preserve the weave and keep the leg line straight.
