We cut this oversized pullover from a soft cotton-blend knit with room through the body and a lower hip line. Side splits at the bottom hem allow the fabric to fall clean over trousers without bunching. Long sleeves end in wide ribbed cuffs that hold their place when pulled up the forearm.

The details we cut in
Chest lettering
We sew the mama lettering straight into the front knit using flat embroidery thread. The stitch density keeps the edges crisp and flat without stiffening the chest panel after washing.
Side split hem
The bottom hem sits loose around the hips and splits at each side seam. This open hem lets the knit drape freely when sitting or moving, without riding up around the waist.
Ribbed crewneck and cuffs
A wide ribbed band finishes the round neckline so it lies flat against the collarbone. Matching rib knit at the cuffs provides a firm grip at the wrists to keep the long sleeves in place.
Washing and fabric care
The lightweight knit holds its shape best when washed in cold water, either by hand or on a separate gentle cycle. Lay flat or hang to dry away from high heat to preserve the embroidery.
