We cut this long sleeve layer from a quick dry knit with a UPF 50+ rating. The quarter zip front closes to a stand collar with a fabric chin guard, or folds down flat as a polo neckline. Slanted side pockets sit along the forward seams to hold small trail items without pulling at the hem.

Quarter zip neckline

A nylon coil zipper runs down the chest and finishes in a soft fabric garage at the throat. Pull it up to close the stand collar around the neck, or leave it open to turn the collar down like a polo.

Cuff with thumbholes

The long sleeves finish in wide self-fabric cuffs with integrated thumbholes. These keep the lower sleeves anchored over the back of the hand while you move along the trail.

Side seam pockets

We set two discreet pockets into the lower side seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and provide a spot for a key, card, or folded map during a walk.

Hawaiian leaves print

The botanical pattern covers the body and sleeves in broad tropical foliage. Wash this knit in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang it flat to air dry.
