A vertical center seam runs down each leg from the high waistband to the finished hem, giving the relaxed wide cut a clean line. We shaped these in stretch denim printed with black polka dots on white. They close with a metal shank button and zip fly.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Front center seam

A topstitched vertical seam runs straight down the middle of each trouser leg. It adds structure to the wide profile and keeps the printed denim falling straight to the hem.

Polka dot denim

We used a stretch-woven denim blend of cotton, polyester, rayon, and spandex. The white ground carries scattered black dots, printed across the weave for an even finish.

Waist and pockets

The high waistband sits with standard belt loops, a metal button, and a smooth zipper fly. We included two curved front pockets and two patch pockets across the back.

Care and wash

Turn the trousers inside out before laundering to protect the printed pattern and front seam stitching. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat.
