We cut this button-up shirt from a plain weave cotton plaid that softens with wear. The body falls loose from a classic turn-down collar and a back yoke with pleats, giving the shoulders and chest room to move. It buttons down the front placket with matching buttons.

White plaid cotton

The woven cotton fabric feels light and breathable in the hand. The white plaid pattern is set into the weave rather than printed on top, so the pattern stays crisp across every panel.

Sleeve and cuff

We set full-length sleeves into a slightly dropped shoulder seam. Each cuff secures with a single button and can be unfastened and rolled up the forearm when you want a shorter sleeve.

Back yoke pleat

A straight yoke runs across the upper back, finished with subtle pleating underneath. This extra ease lets the cloth drape down without pulling tight across your shoulder blades.

Washing and care
