We cut this tunic in solid black with a close-fitting smocked bodice that gives way to a gathered lower body. The square neckline frames the collarbone clearly, while the short puff sleeves add volume at the shoulder before gathering softly above the elbow. Square neckline

We open the neck in a clean horizontal cut that sits flat against the chest. The corners are stitched squarely to maintain their shape without gaping when you lean or reach.

Smocked bodice

The chest panel features close elastic smocking that expands and recovers with your movement. This construction keeps the top secure across the torso while letting the fabric gather naturally beneath.

Gathered puff sleeves

Each short sleeve is gathered at the shoulder head to create height and fullness. An elasticated band finishes the lower edge, keeping the cuff comfortably in place on the arm.

Fabric and care

We selected a lightweight, breathable cloth with a fine weave that holds the black dye deeply. Wash by hand or machine in cold water, avoid bleach, and hang on a line to dry.
