We cut this blouse with a rounded crew neck and pleats folded straight down the front panel. The cotton-rich knit has added stretch, letting the three-quarter sleeves stay in place along the forearm without pulling across the shoulder. It hangs straight through the body to an unvented hem.

The details we cut in

Front pleats

Small folds run vertically down from the neckline across the chest. They release fabric through the torso, giving the knit extra ease without widening the shoulder line.

Three-quarter sleeve

The sleeves finish below the elbow with a plain hemmed cuff. We gave the armhole enough room to layer under cardigans or light jackets without bunching.

Floral print

Black botanical motifs cover a warm apricot ground. The pattern is printed across the knit before assembly, so the colours stay solid through the pleats.

Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand. Skip the bleach to preserve the print, and hang or lay flat to dry.
