We cut these wide-leg trousers from an airy linen and rayon blend that softens the drape and lets air through. The cropped leg ends above the ankle with an open wrap detail at the outer hem. An elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawcord keeps the rise easy and loose through the hips.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg with split hem
The leg is cut generously from the hip down to an ankle-skimming hem. A tulip wrap slit opens at the outer side seam to give the hem extra swing as you walk.
Elastic drawcord waist
We set an elastic band into the waistband and threaded it with a matching cord. You can cinch it tighter or let it sit lower on the hips without binding.
Side seam drop pockets
Deep pockets are sewn into the side seams below the gathers. They sit flat when empty and hold small essentials without pulling on the waistband.
Linen blend care
Wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand to keep the weave soft. Line dry out of direct sun, and use a warm steam iron to smooth out hard creases.
