The details we cut in
Elastic waistband
The shorts pull on over an elastic waist that rests flat without binding. We gave the leg a relaxed cut so the hem hangs loose and moves easily.
Top and sleeve cut
We cut the top with a simple round neckline and short sleeves that sit off the shoulder point. The straight hem falls past the waistband of the shorts.
Side pockets
We set deep slant pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold small items securely when you walk.
Fabric and care
Wash the set in cold water on a gentle cycle, using a mesh laundry bag to protect the seams. Hang the pieces on a line to dry and avoid bleach.
