A wide leg cut from a light linen and rayon weave in solid black. We shaped the hips with plenty of ease, added an elastic waist with an adjustable cord, and ended the legs with an overlapping split hem that falls above the ankle. Side pockets sit flat along the seams.

The details we cut in
Waistband and drawcord
We gathered the top over a wide elastic band that stays in place without pinching. An exterior fabric cord threads through the front so you can knot it loose or snug across the waist.
Split cropped hem
The legs flare out wide toward the bottom and finish with an overlapping side split. The hem sits at a cropped capri length to keep the lower hem clear of the ground.
Linen and rayon drape
The weave combines the dry feel of linen with the soft, fluid drop of rayon. It hangs loose from the hip down, allowing steady airflow through the wide leg cut.
Side pockets and care
Two drop-in pockets sit flush within the side seams for small items. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang the trousers to dry, and use a warm steam iron to smooth out creases.
