We cut this long raincoat from a lightweight coated shell and lined the body in soft striped cotton. The black outer fabric blocks wind and sheds water, while the internal drawcord lets you draw the waist in over thick layers. It folds flat into a pack when the rain clears.

Striped cotton lining
The body is lined in a soft striped cotton fabric that feels dry against bare arms. It adds light structure to the lightweight shell without adding bulk through the shoulders or sleeves.
Drawcord waist channel
An integrated drawstring channel runs through the waistline. You can leave the coat loose for airflow on warm walks or pull the cords tight to cinch the middle against driving wind.
Attached deep hood
The attached hood is cut generous enough to clear a knit cap. Drawstrings at the neck let you close the opening around your face when the weather turns wet.
Launder and care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth or wash on a gentle machine cycle with cold water. Hang the coat to dry and do not iron, which helps preserve the waterproof shell coating.
