We cut this tunic in solid black with an open V-neckline and three-quarter flutter sleeves that flare toward the elbow. The bodice drops into a seam at the waist before falling out into a soft peplum flare. It hangs loose through the torso and finishes with a curved hem.

The details we cut in

Three quarter flutter sleeve

The sleeves stop below the elbow with a wide bell cut. We gave the bell enough volume to swing loose around the forearm without pulling at the shoulder seam.

Waist seam and hem

A horizontal seam sits below the ribs to anchor the lower half. The peplum panel opens slightly from that line and rounds off into a curved hem that sits lower in back.

Poly jersey blend

We chose a lightweight jersey knit with stretch for recovery. The fabric has a smooth face, resists deep wrinkling when folded into a bag, and keeps its shape after a full day of wear.

Wash and care

Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water or wash by hand. Hang the tunic on a hanger or lay it flat to dry so the sleeves and hem retain their drape.
