We cut this long sleeve button-down in a smooth woven stripe that holds its press through a full shift. The collar stands clean under a jacket lapel, and the front placket fastens with matched buttons down to a curved shirt hem. It layers easily over trousers or tucked straight into a waistband.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and placket
A classic pointed collar framed with a reinforced stand keeps its shape throughout the day. The center front fastens with evenly spaced dyed-to-match buttons down the length of the placket.
Sleeve and cuff
The full-length set-in sleeves finish with tailored cuffs and button closures. You can fasten them at the wrist for a formal line or unbutton and fold them back up the forearm.
Curved shirttail hem
We shaped the hemline with a slight upward curve at both side seams. The extra length sits flat beneath a waistband when tucked, yet hangs cleanly if left untucked over plain trousers.
Fabric and care
Woven with fine yarns for a smooth surface that resists creasing during long wears. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, shake out the damp cloth, and hang on a broad hanger to dry.
