We cut this tunic with a simple crew neck and three-quarter sleeves that end below the elbow. The jersey knit is soft and light, blended with stretch so it moves easily. The body flares out toward an uneven hem that drops low around the hips.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neck and sleeve
A clean crew neckline sits flat against the collarbone without pulling. The three-quarter sleeves are set in with standard shoulder seams and leave the wrists free for work.
Flared tunic hem
The body widens from the chest down into a swing cut. We shaped the lower edge into an irregular hemline that falls lower than standard tops, resting well over trousers or leggings.
Floral stretch knit
We chose a lightweight jersey knit in royal blue patterned with a floral print. The fabric has a supple drape and stretches across the grain without losing its shape.
Laundering and care
Hand wash in cool water or place the shirt in a mesh laundry bag before running a machine cycle. Hang it to dry or lay it flat on a rack to keep the hem level.
