We cut this short sleeve polo with a spread collar and a three-button front placket for adjustable airflow. The knit has a fine mesh texture blended with stretch for easy shoulder movement. Ruched detailing along the side seams shapes the torso without pulling across the chest.

The details we cut in

Collar and placket

A turn-down lapel collar sits flat against the neck and leads into a clean three-button placket. You can unbutton the neck when the day warms up or button it closed beneath a lightweight windbreaker.

Sleeve and shoulder cut

The short sleeves are cut with enough ease through the armhole to clear full shoulder turns on the course. Double-stitched hems finish the cuffs to keep them flat through regular movement.

Side seam ruching

We gathered the side seams with subtle ruching down the torso. This gathers the extra knit lightly at the waist so the body of the shirt stays close and sits neatly over shorts or a tennis skirt.

Fabric and wash care

The green synthetic knit is quick-drying with an open mesh weave that lets air move through the yarns. Wash on a gentle cold cycle and hang on a line to dry so the collar keeps its shape.
