What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neckline and sleeves
The round crew neck is banded in self-fabric to keep its shape through repeated wear. We cut the short sleeves close to the arm so they sit flat under a light jacket or cardigan.
Ribbed knit texture
We chose a fine vertical rib that stretches across the body and snaps back. The knit has enough weight to drop cleanly toward the ankles without twisting along the side seams.
Flared lower hem
The skirt stays fitted through the thigh and releases below the knee into a gentle fishtail cut. This flare gives your stride room to move freely without pulling at the waist.
Care and undergarments
Wash cold on a gentle cycle and dry flat to keep the ribbed length from stretching out. Because the cream knit is unlined, neutral seamless base layers sit smoothest underneath.
