We knit this pullover with a raised diamond pattern across the front and back panels. The mock collar sits close to the throat without folding over, framed by dropped shoulder seams and long sleeves that taper into wide ribbed cuffs. It works on its own over trousers or layered under heavy winter coats.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Mock collar and yoke

The collar is knitted in a continuous vertical rib that stands upright along the base of the neck. We set the shoulder seams low off the shoulder point so the knit settles easily over base layers.

Geometric diamond knit

The body panels feature a defined diamond cable relief across the torso. We use a blended yarn spun from viscose, polyester, and polyamide to give the pattern clean stitch definition while keeping the fabric pliable and soft.

Cuffs and bottom band

We finish the wrists and the lower hem with wide, dense ribbing. The cuffs hold their place when pushed up the forearm, while the bottom band anchors the knit so the hem rests flat against trousers or skirts.

Yarn care

This piece ships compressed in packaging and will show fold lines when unpacked. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, lay flat on a drying rack to preserve the stitch shape, and press with a cool iron to clear packing creases.
