We cut this top with an open square neckline that leaves room at the collarbone. The knit fabric has plenty of stretch and falls straight past the waist without clinging. Soft red tones fade down through the body and finish at an extended lower hem.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Square neck cut
The wide neckline is stitched flat to stay level across the chest. It sits wide across the shoulders and keeps its clean rectangular shape through everyday wash and wear.
Three-quarter sleeve
We set the sleeve seams slightly soft on the shoulder and took the length to just below the elbow. The cuffs are loose and turn back easily if you want them higher.
Fabric and gradient dye
The lightweight knit is opaque and holds plenty of mechanical stretch for easy movement. We dyed the cloth in a gradual red gradient that shifts tone from the shoulders down to the hem.
Washing and care
Wash by hand or run it through a cold machine cycle. Skip the bleach to protect the red dye gradient, and hang the shirt on a line or drying rack to air dry.
