We cut these trousers with a wide leg that bows outward through the knee and tapers in at the ankle hem. The synthetic blend carries moderate stretch and resists creasing through long periods of sitting. An encased elastic waistband keeps the front flat.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Barrel leg shape

The leg curves out from the hip through the calf before tapering back toward the ankle hem. That rounded line creates space through the thigh while keeping the bottom opening controlled.

Hidden elastic waist

We built the elastic into the waistband so the exterior stays smooth and flat against the body. It pulls on directly without buttons, zips, or hardware to press against you.

Side entry pockets

Deep slant pockets sit along the side seams for small items. They lie flat against the hip when empty so they do not interrupt the outward bow of the outer seam.

Wash and care

Machine wash cold with similar colors and hang to dry or tumble on low heat. The smooth woven fabric resists wrinkles on its own, so pressing with a warm iron is rarely needed.
