We cut these trousers with a curved barrel leg that curves out through the calf and tapers at the cropped hem. The pink cloth has a smooth hand and built-in stretch that resists creasing. A flat waistband conceals the elastic across the waist.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Barrel leg shape
The outer seam bows out gently through the leg and pulls back in toward the cropped ankle. This creates the rounded barrel silhouette without adding extra bulk at the hip.
Hidden elastic waistband
We built the elastic into the inside of the waistband to keep the front flat and clean. You pull them straight on without buttons, zips, or metal hardware.
Side entry pockets
Deep slant pockets sit along the side seams so they lie flat against the hip when empty. They hold daily small items without distorting the outer line of the trousers.
Cloth and laundering
The lightweight nylon blend holds its shape and packs down small without deep wrinkles. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colours and hang them to dry.
