We knit this light shrug with an open crochet pattern that lets air move through the weave. The front hangs open without buttons or ties, sitting neatly across the shoulders and over sleeveless layers. Three-quarter sleeves keep the forearms clear while the cropped hem rests naturally at the waist.

Three-quarter sleeve
We cut the sleeves to finish just below the elbow. The knit cuffs hold their shape without binding the arm or catching on table edges.
