In stock

  • The store that takes the order handles the payment and sends the parcel. We cut the piece; the order is theirs.
  • If the fit comes out wrong, the return runs through them too, on their window. What we can do about the next size is on when the fit comes out wrong.

We knit this shrug with an open crochet stitch that lets air pass through while adding light cover over shoulders and arms. The cut is open in front with no buttons or ties, so the front panels fall straight down without pulling. It works over thin tops and summer dresses.

  • Colour: Khaki
  • Cut for: Cold and breezy
  • Sleeve: Three-quarter
  • Where it goes: Evenings out

What went into it

The details we cut in

Openwork knit fabric

We use a viscose-blend yarn knit in a ventilated crochet pattern. The stitch gives the piece texture and a light, flexible drape that packs down small in a bag without heavy bulk.

Three-quarter sleeve cut

The sleeves end past the elbow with ribbing at the cuff to keep the shape tidy. This length leaves your forearms free and keeps the cuff clear of tables and desks.

Open front drape

We left off all fasteners on the front edge. The bands are ribbed to keep the line clean, hanging straight down the torso without bunching across the chest.

Washing and care

Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. Lay flat to dry or hang on a padded rail so the open knit does not stretch out of shape.
