  • The store that takes the order handles the payment and sends the parcel. We cut the piece; the order is theirs.
  • If the fit comes out wrong, the return runs through them too, on their window. What we can do about the next size is on when the fit comes out wrong.

We knit this layer with an open crochet stitch that lets air pass right through the yarn. The front hangs loose without buttons, settling naturally over sleeveless tops and dresses. Three-quarter sleeves keep the forearms clear while covering the shoulders and upper arms.

  • Colour: Apricot & Black Stripes
  • Cut for: Cold and breezy
  • Sleeve: Three-quarter
  • Where it goes: Errands and daylight

What went into it

The details we cut in

Open crochet knit

The openwork stitch creates a porous grid across the body and sleeves. Viscose yarn gives the open pattern a soft, fluid drop that rests lightly against lower layers without bunching or adding bulk.

Stripe pattern

Knitted bands of soft apricot alternate with black across the body and arms. Because the stripes are worked directly into the open stitch rather than printed on top, the pattern stays clear inside and out.

Open front cut

We leave the front placket entirely open with no hooks, buttons, or ties. The edges fall straight down the torso and finish with a clean knitted border that holds its shape through regular wear.

Cold water care

Wash by hand in cold water or run through a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the knit flat or hang it on a line to dry so the open loops maintain their shape.
