We cut these lounge trousers from lightweight woven cotton in a crisp black and white gingham check. The wide leg falls straight from the hip down to a clean hem. An elastic waistband keeps the waist flat, with side pockets set right into the seams.

The details we cut in

Wide leg cut

The legs run loose and straight from the hip down to the ankle hem. The woven cotton keeps its own drape without clinging, allowing air through as you move around the house or pack them for travel.

Elastic waistband

We built the waist with a flexible elastic channel that sits flat against the body. It holds without binding or needing drawstrings, keeping the top block simple under relaxed tees or button-down shirts.

Side seam pockets

Two practical pockets are set directly into the side seams. They sit smooth against the leg when empty and give you a place to rest your hands or hold small daily items.

Woven cotton care

Machine wash cold with similar light and dark laundry on a gentle cycle. Line dry or tumble low, and press with a warm iron if you prefer a crisp finish on the gingham check.
