We cut this two-piece set from a double-knit air-layer fabric that holds a soft structure without feeling heavy. What went into it

The details we cut in

Air-layer knit

The fabric is an air-layer knit blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex. It has a smooth face on both sides, a slight bounce in the hand, and enough weight to hold its shape across the day.

Top construction

We cut the top with a banded crewneck and a slightly dropped shoulder seam. The body is relaxed and finishes in a clean, straight hem that sits over the waistband of the trousers.

Wide trousers with stripe

The bottoms feature a high-rise waist and a wide, straight leg. We set a contrast white stripe down the outer side seam and set functional pockets into the hip.

Washing instructions

Machine wash in cold water with similar dark colours to protect the black dye and the white side stripe. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use bleach or send out for dry cleaning.
