We cut these trousers from a midweight black crepe with a crisp drape and minimal stretch. Deep front pleats run down into pressed leg creases. The front waist remains flat with belt loops, while hidden elastic along the back provides give throughout the day.

The details we cut in
Cut and drape
The wide leg falls straight from the hip without clinging. Crepe yardage gives the trousers a solid, weighted hang that keeps the pressed creases sharp from morning to evening.
Waistband and pleats
We tailored the front waistband flat with belt loops and double front pleats. Around the back, the band conceals an elastic insert that flexes as you sit.
Pockets and hardware
Side slant pockets sit flush along the front seams to hold small items flat. The front fly fastens cleanly below the tailored band.
Wash and care
Machine wash in cold water with similar dark colours. Hang or lay flat to dry to preserve the weave and keep the pressed leg creases intact.
