We cut this midweight fleece pullover with an easy dropped shoulder and a roomy body. The brushed backing gives reliable warmth through cooler mornings without adding dense bulk under an outer coat. Across the chest, we stitched an embroidered flag motif over the charcoal heather knit.

The details we cut in
Dropped shoulder cut
The armhole sits low off the natural shoulder point, giving the chest and upper sleeve a loose drape. This leaves enough room underneath to layer over a tank or lightweight tee.
Embroidered flag graphic
The flag graphic across the chest is embroidered directly into the face of the fabric. Stitched thread stays crisp and holds its shape through regular wash cycles.
Ribbed crew neck and hem
We bound the round neckline, sleeve cuffs, and bottom hem in a firm matching rib knit. The bands pull the loose fleece in at the wrists and waist to help block cold drafts.
Fleece care and wash
Turn the pullover inside out before washing to keep the embroidery clean. Machine wash cold with similar dark colors, avoid bleach, and line dry instead of using the dryer.
