We cut this mini skirt from a smooth faux leather with light stretch, tailored to sit high on the natural waist. An off-center slit breaks the straight hemline for easier movement. Inside, sewn-in jersey shorts provide full coverage underneath the fitted outer shell.

What went into it
The details we cut in
High waist and side slit
The waistband rests high and closes with a smooth zipper for a close fit through the hips. A clean vertical slit at the lower front breaks the pencil profile so you can walk without binding.
Built-in jersey shorts
We lined the interior with integrated stretch shorts. They stay flat beneath the outer faux leather layer, giving you total coverage without adding bulk along the hip seams or hem.
Burgundy faux leather
The PU shell has a supple hand and a subtle low-sheen finish in deep wine burgundy. It holds its shape well throughout wear and resists creasing when packed or folded.
Laundering and care
Wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth between wears, or hand wash gently in cold water with mild soap. Lay the skirt flat to dry away from direct heat to protect the faux leather coating.
