We cut this sleeveless layer from thick sherpa fleece with a dense, lofted pile that holds warmth without weighing down the shoulders. The silhouette falls loose past the hip, leaving plenty of room over sweaters or under a heavier shell. A straight center zipper runs right to the rounded collar.

The details we cut in
Crewneck and front zip
The neck is cut round and bound smooth, sitting flat against the collarbone. A full-length metal zipper runs straight up the front, letting you vent the vest quickly or close it tight when the wind picks up.
Lofted navy fleece
The sherpa fleece is woven with a deep, curly pile in solid navy blue. It traps air between the fibres for reliable insulation, yet the fabric stays pliable so it will not bunch under an overcoat.
Patch pockets and hem
Two deep patch pockets sit low at the sides to warm your hands or hold a phone. We finish the lower edge straight, falling across the hip and upper thigh to keep cold drafts off the waistband.

Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar colours. Do not use bleach or a hot iron on high-pile fleece; lay it flat or hang it on a broad hanger to air dry.
