We cut this button-down shirt from a light cotton gauze weave with an open white plaid grid. The details we cut in
Cotton gauze weave
The cotton yarn is woven into a light gauze with a soft hand. The fabric has an airy structure that hangs away from the torso rather than clinging, making it suitable for warm weather and light layering.
Back pleat construction
We set an inverted pleat directly beneath the straight back yoke. This gives extra room across the shoulders when reaching or bending, keeping the front placket straight and flat throughout the day.
Collar and placket
The shirt features a classic turn-down collar with clean edge stitching. A neat row of matched buttons fastens the full-length front placket, allowing the neckline to be worn buttoned high or open.
Rollable long sleeves
