We cut this long sleeve polo from a stretch knit in a bold red and black plaid. The flat knit collar sits open into a shallow V-neckline over a two-button placket, while gathered shoulder seams give the long sleeves a light puff shape. It finishes with a straight hem that tucks or hangs loose.

The details we cut in
Plaid knit fabric
The red and black plaid is worked into a flexible knit with added stretch. The fabric breathes well during movement, holds its structure through the body, and lies flat without clinging.
Collar and placket
A solid flat knit collar frames the split neckline. Below it, a two-button placket lets you adjust the opening, finished with reinforced stitching so the band sits neat and flat.
Puff sleeve construction
We gathered the sleeve heads at the shoulder seam to create a rounded puff shape. The sleeves run long and finish in narrow cuffs that stay in place at the wrist.
Cold water care
Machine wash in cold water with similar colours to keep the red and black plaid sharp. Tumble dry on a low heat setting or hang it on a line to dry.
