We knit this short-sleeve cardigan in a fine, lightweight gauge with horizontal stripes of white and coffee. The round neck sits close to the collarbone, leading into a tidy button placket down the center. It serves as a light layer over a camisole or fastens completely as a standalone knit top.

The details we cut in
Crew neckline and placket
A banded crew neck sits flat against the base of the throat. Small tonal buttons run down the center front, allowing you to fasten it fully or wear the front open over a light base layer.
Sleeve and shoulder cut
The short sleeves finish midway down the upper arm with narrow ribbed cuffs. We set the shoulder seams straight across the top of the frame to keep the knit hanging evenly along the torso.
Striped fine gauge knit
White and warm coffee yarns create horizontal bands across the body and sleeves. The lightweight knit has a soft hand, breathing well in mild air while holding its shape through the day.
Hem and laundering
Fine ribbing finishes the lower hem so it rests neatly against a waistband. Machine wash this piece on a gentle cycle in cold water and lay it flat to dry to preserve the rib structure.
