We cut this two piece set in a lightweight, breathable knit dyed an earthy khaki. The top falls straight with capped sleeves and a single chest pocket, while the shorts pull on with an elasticated drawstring waist. It is an easy pair for warm days at home.

The details we cut in
Cap sleeve top
We shaped the upper body with capped sleeves that sit clear of the shoulder. A small square pocket sits on the left chest, stitched flat to keep the front clean.
Drawstring waist
The shorts have an elastic waistband threaded with an adjustable cord so you can set the tension. They sit comfortably across the hips without binding.
Side pocket details
We inset practical slash pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They lie flat against the leg when empty and hold small items when you move around.
Fabric and care
The knit resists creasing and washes easily in cold water on a gentle cycle. Line dry or tumble on low heat to preserve the soft drape.
