We knit this pullover in a medium-weight wool blend that offers warmth without excess bulk under a coat. The V-neck sits flat against the collarbone, cut wide enough to show a collared shirt underneath. Navy yarn gives the stitch work a uniform, dark finish.

What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neck collar
The neckline is finished with a ribbed band that lies flat against the neck and holds its shape after laundering. It leaves room for a base layer or the collar of a button-down shirt.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
We finish the long sleeves and straight lower hem with dense ribbing. The knit stretches to pull on easily and pulls back in to keep cold air out at the wrists.
Medium wool blend knit
The yarn blends wool with synthetic fibres for stretch and a softer hand. It is a mid-weight gauge that drapes straight down through the torso rather than clinging.
Washing and care
Wash by hand or machine wash on a cold cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the sweater flat on a dry towel to air dry so the knit keeps its shape.
