What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neck line
The open neck is bound with a flat knit band that rests flat against the collarbone. It leaves enough room for a shirt collar underneath without pulling or bunching at the sides.
Wool blend yarn
We use a medium-weight knit blended with wool for loft and nylon, acrylic, and polyester for shape retention. The surface stays smooth and resists pilling while keeping a soft, steady drape.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Both the sleeve cuffs and the bottom edge are worked in a firmer rib stitch. This gives the long sleeves a clean stop at the wrist and keeps the waist hem from stretching out.
Cold wash care
Wash by hand or run on a gentle cold cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the sweater flat on a towel to dry so the knit retains its original length and outline.
