We cut this top from a light jersey blend with built-in stretch and a clean drape. The front features a crew neckline split into a small notch that fastens with thin ties. Horizontal stripes run through the body and the straight sleeves, finished with tidy turned hems.

Neckline and ties

The round neck opens into a shallow front notch secured by self-fabric ties. You can knot them loose or leave them undone to sit open against the collarbone.

Knit jersey fabric

We chose a lightweight blend of synthetic yarns and stretch fibre. The fabric breathes well in warm weather, holds its shape through the day, and feels soft against the body.

Sleeve and hem cut

The set-in short sleeves finish cleanly on the upper arm. Both the sleeve cuffs and the lower hem are turned and stitched flat to lie smooth over trousers or skirts.

Washing and care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Tumble dry low or line dry in the shade to keep the knit from losing its stretch or warping along the striped seams.
