We cut this short-sleeve athletic shirt with a classic crewneck and raglan shoulder seams that sit flat across the upper back. The lightweight knit dries quickly and stretches four ways to follow your movement. It finishes right at the waistband in our grey purple dye.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Crew neckline

The neck is finished with a narrow ribbed band that lies flat against the collarbone. It holds its shape through regular wash cycles and pulls on over the head without tugging.

Raglan sleeves

We angled the shoulder seams from the collar down to the underarm instead of setting a straight armhole. This raglan cut keeps the seam away from pack straps and gives your arms room to lift.

Waistband hem

The hem is cut straight across to sit at the natural waistline. We turned and twin-stitched the lower edge so it stays flat against your running shorts or trail trousers without bunching.

Stretch knit care

The lightweight polyester and spandex knit has a smooth face that sheds surface moisture quickly. Machine wash cold with like colours and hang the top to dry out of direct sunlight.
