What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neck and top cut
The top features an open V-neckline with set-in short sleeves and a roomy body. We added deep side slits at the hem so the fabric falls cleanly over the shorts without catching.
Drawstring waistband
The matching shorts sit on an elastic waistband anchored with an adjustable front drawstring cord. The rise is generous, giving the legs plenty of room through the seat and thighs.
Side pocket construction
We set deep hand pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat when empty and are anchored to hold daily pocket essentials without pulling down the waistband.
Fabric and laundering
This lightweight stretch knit is soft to the touch and moves easily. Machine wash cold or hand wash to keep the blue dye clear; avoid chlorine bleach and iron only on low heat.
