We cut this two piece lounge set from lightweight stretch jersey with a smooth drape. The short sleeve top has a deep v-neckline and open side slits at the lower hem. Matching shorts sit high on the waist with an adjustable cord and wide front pockets. In solid black, the pieces work together or as separates.

What went into it

The details we cut in

V-neck and hem slits

The top is shaped with a deep v-neckline and short sleeves that fall loose around the upper arm. Side slits at the lower hem let the body drape freely over the shorts.

High waist and drawstring

The shorts feature an elasticated waistband threaded with a flat drawcord so you can adjust the fit across the hips. The rise is cut high to sit comfortably without binding.

Front pockets

We built wide pockets into the front of the shorts to keep the seams flat while holding small items. The openings sit angled along the hip line for easy reach.

Fabric and wash care

This stretch knit fabric stays soft and breathes well through warmer days. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in cool water, skip the bleach, and iron only on low heat.
