What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and hem
The top opens into a deep V-neckline that lies flat against the collarbone. We added stepped side slits at the hem so the fabric falls cleanly over the waistband without bunching when you sit.
Drawstring waistband
We gathered the shorts onto an elasticated high waistband fitted with an adjustable tie cord. The cut through the leg remains relaxed, giving you room to move freely around the house.
Deep side pockets
Two inset pockets sit along the side seams of the shorts. We anchored them deep enough to carry small daily items securely without pulling the outer seam out of alignment.
Fabric and care
The knit is light and soft to the touch. Wash the set by hand or on a gentle machine cycle without bleach, and skip high heat when smoothing out creases with an iron.
