We cut this button-down from a lightweight woven cloth that carries the visual texture of denim with a fine surface shimmer. The pink yarn gives it a gentle depth. It wears light on the shoulders, unbuttoned as an overlayer or buttoned straight through the placket.

The details we cut in
Shimmering denim weave
The fabric mimics the diagonal twill of traditional denim but feels softer in the hand. A subtle surface sheen catches the light across the pink yarn without adding bulk.
Collar and placket
A crisp point collar frames the neckline above a standard button front. You can leave the top buttons undone or fasten the placket fully for a cleaner line.
Full sleeve cut
The sleeves are cut long with tidy button cuffs. Leave them fastened at the wrist or roll them up the forearm when you want a looser profile.
Cold wash care
Machine wash in cold water using a mesh laundry bag to protect the woven surface. Smooth out the hem to dry, and use a low iron if you want to press the collar flat.
