We cut this button down with a neat collar, full-length sleeves, and a clean front placket. The cloth gives the visual depth of denim with a lighter, softer hand and a subtle sheen. It falls straight through the body and works buttoned up or open over another layer.

The details we cut in

Denim style cloth

The fabric has the deep blue character of denim but feels much softer and lighter to the touch. A fine sheen runs across the weave, giving the navy tone extra depth.

Collar and placket

A classic pointed collar leads down to a full row of tonal buttons. We set the front band flat so it sits neatly whether fastened to the top or left open.

Sleeve and cuff

The sleeves are cut full to the wrist with standard barrel cuffs. You can button them close or roll them back up the forearm when working.

Care and pressing

Machine wash in cold water using a mesh laundry bag to protect the surface sheen. Hang to dry and press with a low-temperature iron if needed.
