We cut this sleeveless fleece vest with an upright stand collar and a straight front zipper. The sherpa fleece has high loft on both the exterior and interior, leaving the piece light and unlined against your base layers. The details we cut in
Stand collar and zip
The collar stands straight to sit close around the throat when zipped up, or folds back flat when worn open. We installed a smooth-running front zipper with clean interior facing.
Fleece fabric weight
The fleece is lofty on both surfaces without extra backing fabric. It holds bulk without heavy weight, giving the body a soft texture inside and out.
Armholes and hem
We cut wide armholes so the vest layers over heavy knitwear without bunching at the armpit. The straight hem drops below the waist to cover the lower back.
Side pockets and care
Two open pockets sit directly in the front side seams for easy hand placement. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang or lay flat to dry to preserve the fleece pile.
