We cut this sleeveless vest from a plush sherpa fleece that holds its loft without adding bulk. The front zip runs straight up into a stand collar, and the hem drops slightly below the hip. It pulls on easily over knit sweaters or long sleeve shirts when the air cools down.

The details we cut in
High stand collar
The front zipper carries all the way through the stand collar so you can close it against drafts or leave it open as a flat lapel. It sits close to the neck without crowding your chin.
Anchored side pockets
We set two side pockets into the front seams and stitched the pocket bags directly to the inside face. They hold keys or a phone flat without shifting or sagging through the front panel.
Low hip hem
The hem falls slightly past the hip line with a clean, binded edge. That extra length covers the waistband of trousers and skirts and stays put when you move through the day.
Laundering and care
Turn the vest inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Hang it to dry or tumble dry low to keep the fleece texture soft and free of matting.
