We cut this sleeveless vest from deep green sherpa fleece with a high stand collar that zips straight up to the chin. The torso is cut with enough ease to pull over a thick knit sweater. Two front pockets sit low on the hips. The fabric holds its pile through cold cycles and air dries quickly.

The details we cut in
Stand collar and zip
A full front zipper runs straight through the high stand collar to close out drafts around the neck. The zip pull runs smooth without catching the sherpa pile.
Armholes and layering
We cut the armholes deep enough so the seams do not bind over long sleeve flannels or wool jumpers. The shoulders sit flat and keep the vest square on the body.
Front hand pockets
Two deep welt pockets sit low on the front panels. They are set into the body seams so they do not add bulk to the waistline.
Sherpa fleece care
The dark green fleece has loft on both sides. Wash in cool water on a gentle cycle to preserve the fleece texture, then line dry flat.
