We cut this sleeveless layer from a high-pile fleece with an allover brown leopard pattern. The stand collar zips right up to the chin, while the straight armholes leave plenty of room for knit sleeves underneath. Two hand pockets sit along the side seams.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and front zip
The tall stand collar stays upright when zipped and rests flat across the chest when left open. A full-length metal pull runs smoothly from the straight bottom hem to the top of the neck.
Deep fleece pockets
Two patch pockets are set into the lower front panels. We lined them with the same high-pile material, so your hands rest against soft fleece whenever they are tucked inside.
Shoulders and armholes
We cut the armholes wide and finished the openings with neat self-fabric binding. This lets you pull the vest over heavy sweaters and long-sleeve knit shirts without pulling at the underarm.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to preserve the loft of the faux fur pile. Hang the vest to dry or tumble dry low without high heat to keep the fleece fibers soft.
