The details we cut in
Ribbed knit yarn
The knit uses a narrow vertical rib that stretches across the width and snaps back. It gives the pale blue fabric a steady weight and an even drape from the shoulders through the skirt.
Neckline and sleeve
We shaped the neckline into a classic band that rests close to the neck without pulling. The short sleeves are cut clean at the bicep to keep the profile tidy and straight across the shoulders.
Fishtail lower hem
The skirt follows the line of the hips before widening softly past the knee into a fishtail hem. This bell shape adds room at the base so you can walk without the fabric catching.
Care and handling
