We cut this short jacket from long faux fur with a subtle two-tone depth in the pile. Inside, a quilted lining adds loft without stiffening the drape. The front fastens with hidden hooks beneath a broad lapel collar.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Two-tone faux fur
The outer shell uses long faux fur fibers dyed with two-tone shading. The pile stays soft in hand and resists shedding with regular wear. It catches the light across the shoulders and back.
Quilted interior lining
We lined the entire body and sleeves with a smooth quilted layer. This inner backing keeps the seams away from the arms and gives the short cut enough structure to hold its shape.
Lapel and hidden hooks
Three concealed hooks secure the open front beneath the foldover lapel collar. You can close it against the wind or leave it loose over lighter layers. Two side pockets sit along the forward seams.
Care and revival
After unpacking, shake the piece out firmly to lift the crushed pile. You can run a wide-tooth comb or a low-heat dryer against the grain to restore the loft. Do not iron or bleach.
